Erin was an all-state catcher at Williamsburg High School. She went on and played softball at Kirkwood Community College where she was named to the all-regional team and ended her career at Grand View University. Erin's program director experience started in 2018 when her and her husband, Jake formed the Central Iowa Barracudas softball club growing from one team to seven teams in four years. Erin has coached at the junior high and currently assists with a youth team.
