The Barracuda Aces High School Program is designed for softball players aged 14U-18U who want to play at the highest level and showcase their talents to collegiate coaches. The Barracuda Aces High School Program will compete in a variety of local, regional and national tournaments and showcases to maximize both development and exposure during the fall season. Barracuda Aces High School teams will have paid coaches, and be expected to travel and play in the most competitive environment. The Barracuda Aces recognize Iowa High School softball as a valuable asset to the player and will not participate in events that conflict with high school and therefore play a robust schedule in the fall.

What We Offer

The Barracuda Aces High School Program is a fall program that offers training, development and playing and exposure opportunities, including:

Fall Season (August-October)  

• 2 practice per week at various locations including Sportsplex West in Waukee, Fareway Fields in Norwalk, Holiday Park in WDM and potentially other local indoor and outdoor facilities. 
• 10 D1 Training sessions (sessions can be used through March) 
• Player Profiles 
• Media and Combine Day 
• College recruiting guidance, player marketing and college coach outreach 
• 6-8 local, regional and national tournaments and showcases 
• Discount to local Upper Midwest Sports Combines 
• Recruiting Night 

Winter Season OPTION (Nov.-March) This season has a separate budget and payment plan from the Fall season

• Indoor tournament options if team is able 
• Development Nights 
• Pitching Development nights 
• Winter Enhancements-Individual 45 min Skill sessions with full (24 sessions) or half (12 sessions) packages offered in areas of hitting, fielding, throwing and catching. 

The Barracuda Aces will provide a spring season for players who do not have a high school spring team and are looking to participate in tournaments prior to the high school season beginning. Spring season information is coming soon.
